We’re official — and we’re inviting you in…

This year, Improv Spaces gathered artists and audiences in living rooms, galleries, and concert halls — listening closely, taking risks, and creating space for improvisation and collaboration.

We’re excited to share that Improv Spaces is now an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means your support can directly sustain performances, workshops, and artist collaborations — and your donation is tax-deductible.

As we look toward the new year, we’re inviting our community to help support what’s coming next: upcoming performances in February-May, including performances from local artists from the Capital Region to international artists, and the continued growth of the annual Improv Spaces Music Festival.

To thank you for your support, we’re offering a few ways to give — including limited-edition festival prints and Improv Spaces merchandise. Please take a look!

For gifts $25-$49:
We are offering a sticker pack of three stickers from Improv Spaces including official festival and Improv Spaces logo stickers.

For gifts $50-$100:
We are offering a 6.25 in. x4.25 in. limited edition original linocut print by Becca Straight created for the 2025 Improv Spaces Music Festival. Only 5 available.

For gifts of $100-$250:
We are offering a limited edition black t-shirt made from the design of the original linocut print by Becca Straight created for the 2025 Improv Spaces Music Festival (available in a soft-touch unisex fit) or limited edition white t-shirt made from the design of the original linocut print by Christopher Smith (available in soft-touch mens and women’s fit). We will follow up with details about your sizing/color/fit OR if you prefer to have a limited edition print if available.

For gifts of more than $250:
We are offering all of the above (print as available) and mention as Friend of Improv Spaces on our website.
