We are excited to be a part of bringing together, presenting, performing and collaborating with folks internationally at the first gathering of the Global Performance + Sound Lab [GPS*] at Rutgers University-Newark and New York University on Oct 18-19, 2025.

GPS* is meant to establish an inter-institutional collaboration to grow a network and resource that can help to manifest new work, performances, research, scholarship, pedagogies, connections, and knowledge and practice sharing. We hope that Improv Spaces will be able to work to bring these resources and opportunities to local musicians and vice versa, working with Capital Regional musicians, interdiscplinary artists, and communities and beyond. Because our issues are local and the global is in fact local.
